After 12 years working for himself and operating a trade repair service for many independent jewellery stores across the north west.  Stephen decided it was time to offer his high standard of work directly to the public, allowing customers to cut out the middle man & come directly to the goldsmith. In 2012,  The Jewellers Bench was opened in Widnes, followed by Hallmark Jewellers Formby in 2019

Stephen, in the trade is a jobbing jeweller, this means he has served a apprenticeship during his youth, 7 years to be exact and has learnt his raw skills from more experienced goldsmiths always continuing to learn and develop the key skills learnt during those 7 years.

Taking this amount of time to learnt he skills of his craft has served him well, openly admitting to being a perfectionist he has passed his skills down the three apprentices that now work at our two stores.
